Our Approach

Traceability
Ren Seafoods utilizes an integrated Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to maintain comprehensive product traceability and ensure effective lot-level tracking throughout the supply chain. Our WMS enables detailed tracking of product movement, inventory transactions, production lots, and storage locations, allowing us to quickly identify and respond to any traceability or recall requirements.
We are fully committed to supply chain transparency and responsible sourcing practices. Our traceability systems allow us to track products from receipt of raw materials through production, storage, and final shipment to customers. All receiving and sales information is maintained to support complete lot-level traceability and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements.
Ren Seafoods recognizes the importance of responsible sourcing and the impact of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing on marine ecosystems, fisheries, and communities. Through our traceability processes, we maintain visibility into product origins, supplier information, processing details, and associated documentation to support responsible procurement practices.
Our ERP system supports mass balance tracking to ensure accurate inventory reconciliation between incoming raw materials, production usage, finished goods, and customer shipments. This provides additional assurance that product quantities and sourcing information are properly managed throughout the supply chain.
To demonstrate our commitment to transparent and responsible sourcing, Ren Seafoods maintains systems capable of tracing products back to the processing facility and, where required, further upstream to support regulatory and customer requirements. For certified products, we maintain appropriate documentation and chain-of-custody information to support applicable certification standards.
Through our WMS traceability capabilities, ERP mass balance controls, supplier verification processes, and commitment to regulatory compliance, Ren Seafoods ensures that our products are sourced responsibly and delivered with the highest standards of quality, safety, and transparency.
